Hello Sweet Souls!
February has brought more light, rainbows and billowing clouds. The nature of the sky speaks its mind and illuminates messages of what's to come. As I write to you I’m filled with buoyant joy. Right out my window I see brightly colored finches adorn the empty tree branches. I find my heart lift in lightness as the birds bounce from branch to branch with such zeal and delight. Their presence overflows where last years foliage resided and then with a sudden burst they fly into the air, landing once again to occupy another vacant plant with an array of color.
Even when they’re on the ground scurrying around to find food they seem to make it a fun and joyous game, as they hop over one another in search of the next juicy bug. There seems to be no drudgery in the act to survive, but rather a great pleasure to find the next scrumous bite.
How different our life could be if we lived with such zest and presence. There would be no time for fear or worry. Our future would be now and our presence would be filled with being in our true nature of love. Nature has always been my quick fix to connecting to my heart. I enjoy nothing more than gazing out my window to watch this playground of boundless joy and love, that can only happen and be seen in the moment. The song and dance of the birds reminds me to bring a sense of play and delight into all aspects of my life.
One of my intentions for the new year is be disciplined in a specific area of my work that I’m eager to nurture and develop.Discipline has a reputation of reflecting a serious tone, but really it just means to be devoted to something that brings meaning and purpose in your life and to participate in a deliberate and habitual manner. To be disciplined requires one to be dutiful in their labor of love. To not abandon oneself by fear, worry, doubt, regret, and distraction. Most often we don't let our self move towards our passion because we may feel it's impractical or that we have not been able to keep our promise to our deepest desires, so why bother.
To be Your Valentine means to give your heart permission to let go what is not serving you so that you can create more space to invite what you love to be at the center of your life, instead of shoving it to the side, like a plate full of leftovers.
February is the time we celebrate the heart through the tradition of Valentines. Be your own valentine by asking yourself these questions: What is in my heart to heal, evolve, create, manifest this year? What do I want to wholeheartedly devote myself to? Who do I need to be honor my word?

Sacred Soul Circles will occur on Sundays 6pm, once a month. The circle is small between 3 and 6 participants to each circle. This allows for each person to receive more attention. Please email if you are interested or have questions. Cost is donation based $15 to $25. You are not turned away if cost is prohibitive.
