Step By Step
This life of yours is taken step by step. There are no short cuts, not matter what they try to tell you. When it comes to fulfilling a dream, desire or wish you must take it step by step. Those that you admire started at the bottom of the staircase, and as you look at them now you wonder how they got where you want to be. You compare yourself to them wondering why your not there or doubt you will ever get there. They would tell you they were once where you are. They would say their ascent started one step at a time. They would tell you despite their fear and doubt they continued on. They would tell you that you see them at the top, but from their vantage point there only on the landing and there is another stair case just before them, unseen by you. They would tell you the only thing that stands in your way is you. One step is in the direction you want. One step is progress. Step by step is how you get there.
