Through The Cracks You Rise
Do you notice that your most brilliant ideas come when you least expect it? It always comes in moments when you’re relaxed and rested. It comes through when you’re doing the most mundane and laborious tasks, like folding laundry, washing dishes, or taking a shower.
Why is that?
The mind is like a cemented sidewalk and the soul is like the fertile ground beneath, bursting with possibilities. The mind is flawed and thus the cracks make way for divine light to shine through. The soul gives life to the broken and weary and inspiration and hope to the visionaries and adversaries of the world.
The mind or the human ego thinks it’s in charge of everything. Behold this, the mind should be serving the holy reverence within you. It should be subservient in the light of your soul, which is already perfect and whole. Be balanced between the heart and the head or your mind will reign over you like a cruel dictator. It will plague you with fear, regret, and shame. It can become hyper vigilant, controlling and condemning, and feeling unworthy.
The human being is not meant to be perfect. If every part of you was beautifully contained there would be no reason for you to explore beyond what you know. There would be no reason to heal and love more deeply. If you let your soul be the director and your mind be the messenger you will thrive in your true nature.
Wear your wounds like a badge of honor as they prove the resilience of your soul. Through the cracks you will rise more beautiful and more brilliant than you were before.
